The performance level of any player can be raised during his career by the use of success points. These success points (SP’s) are won by a club during each session, on the following scale:

• 1 SP automatically every session
• 1 SP if orders are received on or before the given Return-by-Date. This incentive bonus is given to help keep a good turnaround time from the player’s side of things.
• 1 SP for every competitive game won in the previous session (does not apply to friendly games).
• 0.5 SP for every competitive game drawn in the previous session (does not apply to friendly games).

For the Bowl games, these figures are halved, while Derby Matches give treble the normal value.
